How to make boiled buns

How to make boiled buns

1. Pour the flour into a bowl, add the yeast powder or baking powder into the water (the water should not be too cold or too hot) and stir well, so that the dough will rise faster. 2. You can use this time to prepare the filling for the buns. The color, aroma and taste of the buns all depend on this, which is very important. 3. After the dough has risen, knead it and cut it into balls (I don’t like them to be too big). Roll out the dough and put the filling into the skin. You can make it into various shapes. 4. Put the buns in the pot and steam them. Rub some water under the buns so that they will not stick to the bottom. Leave a gap in the middle when putting them in, because the buns will be much bigger when cooked. 5. The steaming utensils should be sealed well. Generally, it takes about half an hour to steam (depending on the fire). 6. The steamed buns will bounce back immediately when you tap your fingerprint, so you can eat the delicious buns!

1. Meat bun filling

Buy a pound of pork filling (mutton, beef), a scallion, and a piece of ginger. Chop the scallion and ginger into fine pieces and put them together with the meat filling. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, vegetable oil, salt, and MSG (chicken essence) and mix well to make the bun filling.

2. Three Fresh Buns Filling

Ingredients: 70 grams of flour (two small bowls), 30 grams of pork (half a small bowl), 5-6 fresh shrimps (chopped into a paste), half an egg fried, appropriate amount of cabbage heart (2 taels), one mushroom (chopped), appropriate amount of green onion, ginger, salt, sesame oil, prepare the self-raising dough one hour in advance and set aside, a small amount of cooking wine. Method: Add scallions, ginger, mushrooms, 1/3 cup of water, cooking wine, shrimp, minced meat, mix well, add salt, mix well, add fried eggs, chop the cabbage heart, put it together and mix well without adding soy sauce, and make the bun filling. Steam the buns over low heat for 15-20 minutes. Features: The buns are soft and taste like soup when eaten. They are delicious and nutritious. The method of making buns is the same, but the taste may not be the same.
