How to make secret soft-boiled tea eggs

4.1 Add a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of sugar and a spoonful of light soy sauce to the cooked spices. The amount of salt can be increased or decreased according to your taste.

5.2 After the spices have been boiled for 10 minutes, add the tea leaves and continue to boil for 5 minutes before turning off the heat and letting it cool. (Yes, the marinade needs to be cooled before use.)

6. Here comes the key step, boil the eggs. Some people may say, well, who doesn’t know how to boil eggs? But the key to whether the cake is runny or not lies in this step. The eggs should be at room temperature. If your eggs are refrigerated, take them out in advance. Otherwise, it will be difficult to control the maturity after putting it in the pot and it will break. Everyone must remember that after the water boils, put the eggs in and make sure the eggs are completely submerged in the water. Boil for 7 minutes and then take them out and rinse with cold water. (To keep your heart soft, please start the timer. Too much or too little won’t do!)

7. When peeling eggs that are too cold, they are not easy to peel because they are runny. You can soak them in water to do it. Put the cooled eggs in a fresh-keeping box, add the marinade, put it in the refrigerator, and marinate overnight.
