How to make braised tofu

We are a nation that pursues delicious food, and we are very particular about eating. Below I will introduce you to a method of making braised tofu. You can try to make it yourself after reading it.

1. A piece of northern tofu (brine tofu).

2.1 Sprinkle salt and crushed black pepper evenly on the tofu cubes and marinate for ten minutes.

3.2 Cut the tofu into pieces about half a centimeter thick, 4 centimeters long and wide.

4.1 Heat the pan with cold oil, sauté peppercorns, aniseed, green onion, ginger, and red pepper until fragrant, then pour in the marinade and tofu cubes, and turn off the heat after five minutes of boiling.

5.2 Pour oil into a non-stick pan and fry the marinated tofu until both sides are golden brown.

6. Pour it into a container and soak for about two hours.

7. The fragrant, glutinous and smooth braised tofu is ready.
