How to make oatmeal rose rolls

2. Making pumpkin dough (flowers): Add oats and yeast to flour, add appropriate amount of pumpkin puree

3. Add warm water in batches

4. Use chopsticks to stir until it becomes flocculent

5. Then knead into a smooth dough

6. Making spinach dough (leaves): Prepare the spinach juice dough, take another portion of flour, add yeast

7. Pour the filtered spinach juice in batches

8. Knead into green dough

9. Cover the two doughs with plastic wrap and let them ferment until they are twice as large as before and have a honeycomb shape inside. This will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour in summer.

10. Making roses: Take out the fermented pumpkin dough and knead it evenly, then divide it into five equal parts.

11. Take one portion and knead it into a sheet slightly larger and thicker than the dumpling wrapper.

12. Place the remaining four doughs in turn, half overlapping them as shown in the picture, and press them lightly at the center axis with chopsticks.

13. Then roll it up from bottom to top

14. Use a knife to cut it in half along the middle axis.

15. Take one of them and stand it up, trim the edge of the dough, and you have a rose. Make the other ones in turn.

16. Making leaves: Take the fermented spinach juice dough, sprinkle a little dry powder and knead evenly

17. Divide into small doughs of even size

18. Take one of them and make it into a leaf shape, and use a toothpick to press out the veins of the leaf.

19. Combination production: Dip a little water to make the two leaves stick together

20. Add roses to the mix

21. After making other oatmeal rose rolls, cover the pot with a lid or plastic wrap and let it stand for 20 minutes for secondary fermentation.

22. After fermentation is complete, add cold water to the pot, boil for 12 minutes and turn off the heat.

23. Turn off the heat and remove the lid after 3-5 minutes.
