Lotus root, kelp and bone soup recipe:

Ingredients preparation: Wash the large bones, soak the dried kelp and dried mushrooms in cold water the night before, and cut the soaked kelp into shreds. Note: Soak the kelp in cold water and put it in the casserole when the water is cold. Soak it in hot water and put it in the casserole when the water is hot. After the water in the casserole boils, add the blanched large bones, cover the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, and simmer over low heat for 1 hour. Peel the lotus root, wash it, cut it into dices and set aside. Stew the large bones for 1 hour, remove the lid, add the lotus root pieces, cover the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, and continue to simmer over low heat for half an hour. Note: If there is not enough soup in the pot, you can add some boiling water when putting the lotus root pieces. Generally, the amount of water should be enough to cover the ingredients. Add appropriate amount of salt before serving.
