How to make oven dried fruit tea

Dried fruit tea is a very good drink, but those sold on the market are not necessarily nutritious and healthy, so it is particularly important to learn how to make it yourself. In fact, the tools for making dried fruit tea are very simple, and you only need an oven to make it. You can put fruits in according to your preferences during the production process, but you need to pay attention to the temperature and time of the oven, because this will directly affect the taste of the finished product.

Materials

Main ingredients: 1 grapefruit, 1 red dragon fruit, 1 lemon, 1 kiwi, 1 orange

Accessories: some rock sugar, appropriate amount of honey

How to make fruit slice tea

1. Scrub the peels of grapefruit, orange and lemon with salt. Use a peeler to remove the dirty outer skin of the dragon fruit, leaving the red skin next to the flesh for later use. Choose kiwis that are not too soft, wash them and peel them with a peeler!

2. Cut all fruits into slices of about 3mm and place them evenly on the tray of the dryer. Use half of the dragon fruit and eat the rest directly. Leave the red skin rich in anthocyanins, cut it into strips, and place it on the tray. Do not stack all the ingredients, but spread them out flat!

3. Dry at low temperature of 50-68 degrees to retain nutrients. Bake at home after get off work and change the positions of several layers of fruits before going to bed. Don’t think that oranges, grapefruits, and lemonade are difficult to bake. In fact, the dragon fruit takes the longest time to bake. You can put it on the bottom layer and set it to 10 hours!

4. You can basically turn off the machine before going out in the morning. You can see that the fruit slices have become thinner. Oranges, grapefruits, lemons, etc. have become crisper. The dragon fruit has a soft skin and does not need to be dried further. Separate the trays and expose them to the air. They will become crisper in a short while!

5. Take a piece of each fruit, put it in a bag and take it away. Haha, isn’t it simple!

6. Be sure to brew with warm water to avoid destroying the nutrients in the fruit. Add honey or rock sugar to taste according to your personal taste. Your exclusive fruit tea, carry it with you and drink it whenever you want!

Cooking Tips

You can also dry watermelon, pineapple, papaya, strawberry, cactus fruit and any other fruit you can think of. The principle is to bake it for a shorter time if it is cut thin, and bake it for a longer time if it is cut thick. Always observe and feel it.
