How to thaw frozen chicken quickly

Refrigerators are a must-have for every household. Refrigerators have the function of preserving food. If you have a refrigerator at home, you can put food in the refrigerator to prevent it from getting smelly and fresh. Chicken is a delicacy we often eat, and its nutritional value is very high. However, in general, people keep chicken by freezing it in the refrigerator. How can you thaw frozen chicken quickly?

How to thaw frozen chicken quickly?

1. Air thawing method

(1) Take the frozen food out of the freezer and put it in the refrigerator. Usually, take it out at night and eat it the next morning.

(2) Take the frozen food out of the freezer and thaw it in room air. It must be noted that food cannot be left in the air for a long time, otherwise it will easily cause food to spoil.

2. Flowing water thawing method

When frozen food is needed urgently, it can be thawed under running water. Because water transfers heat better than air, thawing time can be shortened. However, it should be noted that frozen food should not come into direct contact with water and should be sealed, such as sealed boxes, sealed food bags, etc. Otherwise, the nutrients in the food will be washed away by running water, making the food taste worse.

Note: Frozen raw food should not be completely thawed. It can be cooked when it can be cut with a knife. Do not thaw too much. If meat, fish and other foods are completely thawed, a lot of blood will flow out.

3. Heating and thawing method

For cooked products that have been frozen after being steamed, the heating thawing method can be used for thawing. However, when thawing, you must be careful to add a small amount of water and heat slowly over low heat to avoid thawing over high heat, which will cause the outside to be rotten and the inside to be cold.

4. Microwave thawing method

Microwave ovens use electromagnetic waves to make the polar molecules in frozen food rotate at extremely high speeds, and use the principles of mutual vibration, friction, and collision between molecules to generate a large amount of heat energy, making the frozen food heat from the inside to the outside at the same time, shortening the thawing time.

5. Thawing with salt water or vinegar

If you don't have time to put it in the refrigerator, you can thaw the meat completely in salt water. This is because salt water can accelerate the melting of ice and will not breed bacteria. Tap water is not suitable for thawing frozen meat. In addition, you can also dip a fork in vinegar and poke it into the meat to speed up the thawing process.
