How to make steamed mantis shrimp

A healthy diet can prolong a person’s life. So, how can we use “eating” to prolong our life? You still have to achieve it by yourself. Now, I will introduce you to the method of steamed mantis shrimp.

1. Clean the mantis shrimp and set aside.

2. Pour clean water into the pot and bring it to a boil, then place the mantis shrimp on the steamer.

3. Steam over high heat for 5-7 minutes until the shrimps turn red.

4. While steaming the shrimps, chop the garlic and ginger into fine pieces.

5. Take a small bowl, put a little sugar, aged vinegar, and soy sauce, mix well, then add chopped ginger and garlic to make the sauce.

6. Peel the steamed shrimps and dip them in the sauce, they are extremely delicious.

7. Twist off the two outermost feet of the tail, then pinch the tail and gently fold it upwards, then twist it off.

8. Use a chopstick to insert it from the tail along the shrimp shell to near the head.

9. Fold the shell with your left hand, press the chopsticks with your right hand, and apply force in opposite directions with both hands at the same time.

10. The entire shell on the back is opened.

11. This method is fast and not likely to prick your hands. Your other hand can be used to pick up other dishes with chopsticks cleanly.
