French Apple Pie Recipe

Some recipes skip the cooking step, but this process can prevent the apples from releasing too much water and soaking the puff pastry, so it is best to ensure it. 4. While the fourth step is in progress, you can prepare for the next step: preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Take the puff pastry out of the refrigerator and cut it into pieces slightly larger than the mold. No need to worry about regular shapes. 5. When the apples have turned caramel color, turn off the heat and place the apples into a buttered anti-stick mold. Take out the puff pastry, cover the mold with it, and make the excess part concave inwards. Put it into the preheated oven at 200 degrees and bake for 30 minutes. Take it out and put a large plate on top of the mold. Turn it over while it is still hot (the caramel will solidify after it cools and cannot be removed from the mold, so be careful of the heat!) and remove it from the mold. Serve warm or cold.
