The grilled chicken wings I’m sharing today are slightly spicy. My daughter doesn’t usually eat spicy food, but she loves this one. However, no matter how delicious the food is, my family is always very restrained. First, no matter how delicious it is, if you eat too much of it, it won’t taste delicious anymore. Second, nothing is good or bad, but excess can lead to disaster. Our bodies naturally can’t handle it if we eat too much.

The seasoning for grilled chicken wings is actually very simple. You can adjust it according to your own taste. Not everyone likes the taste of the barbecue sauce sold outside. For example, Ye Zi’s family doesn’t like the taste of that barbecue sauce. They prefer the fragrance of their own kitchen. Not only can they enjoy the taste, but they can also enjoy the fun of making it.

Raw materials:

【Main ingredients】: 8 chicken wings

[Seasoning]: Chili powder, pepper powder, sesame oil, salt, ginger, green onion, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, cumin, black pepper, chili oil, pepper oil, Huadiao wine

Production steps:

1. Clean the chicken wings;

2. Make two slanted cuts on both sides of the chicken wings to make it easier to absorb the flavor;

3. Cut ginger into thin slices and green onion into small pieces for later use;

4. Add appropriate amount of light soy sauce, a few drops of dark soy sauce, appropriate amount of Huadiao wine, a little black pepper and sesame oil to the chicken wings. In order to make it more flavorful, it is recommended to add a few drops of chili oil and pepper oil, then squeeze the onion and ginger to squeeze out the juice, then add a little chili powder, pepper powder, and cumin powder and marinate for a while.

Ye Zi's family likes to use Huadiao wine to cook, and they don't like the taste of cooking wine. Chicken wings marinated with Huadiao wine taste much better than cooking wine. It is recommended to keep Huadiao wine at home if you cook often.

Add a few drops of dark soy sauce for color, but don't add too much. If you like a slightly sweet taste, you can add a little honey, but not too much. Huadiao wine itself is slightly sweet, and this has a spicy flavor, so a slight sweetness is enough to enhance the freshness.

5. Wrap it with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for a few hours to marinate. This will make it more flavorful. If you don’t have enough time, you can also grab it repeatedly and then add it directly.

I baked it on the grill so that it would be baked more evenly. There is an oil pan at the bottom to catch the oil. I recommend putting tin foil in the oil pan for easy cleaning.
