How to make baby broccoli porridge

How to make baby broccoli porridge

When the baby is six months old, you can start to slowly add complementary foods, and fruits and vegetables are one of the first choice ingredients for baby complementary foods, such as applesauce, grapes, cabbage, etc., which are complementary foods that many parents like to give to their babies. Broccoli is rich in vitamins and calcium, which can provide sufficient nutrition for the baby. The gastrointestinal function of babies is not mature enough, so it is best to mash the broccoli into porridge for the baby.

Broccoli and Egg Yolk Porridge

Material:

1 egg, 10g broccoli, 30g baby rice porridge

practice:

1. Blanch the broccoli until cooked through, drain and remove from the pot. Broccoli is blanched to maintain its color and remove odor, astringency, and oxalic acid.

2. Chop the broccoli as finely as possible, or you can directly use a food processor to mince it.

3. Separate the egg white and yolk and set aside. (We only use egg yolks here, so don’t waste the egg whites. You can save them for adults to fry eggs or make cakes.)

4. Add water to baby porridge rice and wash it. (If you are using regular rice, soak it for 20 minutes in advance so that it will be easier to cook until it is soft.)

5. Add 240ml of water, bring to a boil over high heat, open the lid, stir evenly, then turn to medium-low heat and continue simmering for 10 minutes.

6. Open the lid of the pot, add the egg yolks, stir quickly, cook for 2 minutes, add the chopped broccoli, and stir evenly.

7. Cook until all ingredients are cooked through and then serve.

Tips: Suitable for babies over 10 months old.

One broccoli, two chicken thighs, two drops of cooking wine, two slices of ginger, appropriate amount of salt, one cup of rice, appropriate amount of water

1. Clean the rice, put appropriate amount of water in the casserole and start cooking.

2. Debone the chicken thighs, chop them into small pieces, and marinate them with cooking wine, salt, oil, and ginger.

3. Wash and chop the broccoli and set aside.

4. When the porridge is cooked to the appropriate softness, add the chicken and broccoli, and simmer until the meat and vegetables are cooked.

Tips: Suitable for babies over 10 months old.

Broccoli and Pomfret Congee

Material:

50g pomfret, 1 bowl of rice porridge, 2 small florets of broccoli

practice:

1. Take the part of the pomfret with fewer bones, rinse it clean, and steam it in a steamer.

2. Take out the steamed fish, carefully remove the fish bones, then chop the fish into small pieces, and then carefully check for fish bones.

3. Rinse the broccoli, pick out 2 small florets, and blanch them in boiling water. Remove broccoli and chop finely for later use.

4. Take a small pot, pour in rice porridge and chopped broccoli and bring to a boil.

5. Add chopped golden pomfret meat to the broccoli porridge. Cook the ingredients until soft and serve the broccoli pomfret porridge in a bowl.

Broccoli, Chicken, Mushroom and Egg Yolk Porridge

Material:

40g chicken breast, 35g broccoli, 20g carrots, 30g button mushrooms, 30g rice, appropriate amount of water, 1 egg yolk

practice:

1. Prepare the ingredients. The rice can also be soaked in clean water for 30 minutes in advance, which makes it easier to cook.

2. Pour enough water into the cooking pot. After the water boils, pour the washed rice into the pot and stir the rice with a shovel.

3. Bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat. Do not cover the pot completely, leave a small gap to prevent the porridge from overflowing from the pot.

4. Remove the fascia from the chicken, cut it into large pieces, and marinate it with ginger slices and corn starch for ten minutes to remove the fishy smell. I also added a little baby soy sauce, but not for babies under 1 year old.

5. Blanch the marinated chicken. Pour cold water into the pot and add ginger slices. After the water boils, skim off the foam, take out the chicken pieces, and then rinse them lightly with warm water.

6. Add the blanched chicken pieces into the porridge and cook for about 10 minutes. While the chicken is cooking, blanch the broccoli and shiitake mushrooms.

7. Then cut the blanched shiitake mushrooms in half, cut the broccoli into small pieces, slice the carrots and then cut them in half. Put the cut vegetables into the steaming basket of the baby food machine and steam them in 1 grid.

8. After steaming, discard the steamed water. Then pour the vegetables into the blender, take the cooked chicken breast out of the porridge pot and put it into the blender as well.

9. Cover the lid, turn the food processor, and stir a few times until it becomes fine granules. After the porridge is cooked until thick, pour all the blended chicken and vegetables into the porridge pot. Stir well with a spatula.

10. Crush an egg yolk in a grinding bowl. If you don't have a grinding bowl, crush it with the back of a spoon. Add the egg yolk into the porridge. Stir well and give it to your baby.

Tips: Suitable for babies over 10 months old.

Carrot Broccoli Rice Cereal

Material:

10g broccoli, 100g carrots, 10g radish

practice:

1. Peel the carrots, cut them into small pieces, and steam them in a baby food machine for 20 minutes.

2. While steaming the carrots, let’s blanch the broccoli.

3. After the carrots are steamed, add the blanched broccoli, then add 100 ml of boiling water and beat into carrot and broccoli puree for later use (the amount of water used here can be adjusted according to your own blender or grinding bowl).

4. First prepare an appropriate amount of warm water (about 50 degrees), pour the rice flour while stirring, so that the rice paste will be more delicate and free of particles.

5. Add the blended carrot puree into the blended rice paste, and the sweet and nutritious carrot vegetable rice paste is ready.

Tips: Suitable for babies over 7 months old.
