7. Wash and clean the japonica rice.

8. Cover the pot with a lotus leaf lid and cook on low heat until the porridge becomes thick. Before removing from the heat, pour in the chicken and cook until cooked through. Taste the porridge, add salt and chicken essence, then turn off the heat. Finally, sprinkle some green onion flowers for flavor.
