How to make scallop, mushroom and duck congee

A healthy diet can prolong a person’s life. So, how can we use “eating” to prolong our life? You still have to achieve it by yourself. Now, I will introduce the method of making scallop, shiitake mushroom and duck porridge.

1. Soak mushrooms and scallops and set aside. Cut mushrooms into shreds and chop green onions and coriander.

2.1 Put the dried scallops, water and rice in a pot, add two slices of ginger and water, bring to a boil over high heat, then switch to medium heat and cook until the rice is blooming. Then put the shredded mushrooms, clams, duck pieces and duck gizzards into the pot and cook for about 15 minutes.

3.2 Cut the duck, gizzards and liver into small pieces, add salt, pepper, cooking wine and cornstarch, mix well and marinate for 20 minutes.

4. Before serving, put the duck liver into the porridge and cook until it changes color, then add a little salt, a little sesame oil, and chicken essence to season, then sprinkle with chopped green onions and coriander and turn off the heat.
