When we eat hot pot and shabu-shabu, we usually need to prepare a dipping sauce. The most common seasoning in the dipping sauce is sesame paste. When we are at home, the seasonings are not so complete, so we can use sauce instead of dipping sauce. The sauce is generally made of soybean paste, and some mashed garlic and chili can be added to it. It will taste more delicious. So how to make the sauce better?

1. Wash the peeled garlic and mash it into garlic paste in a garlic mortar, or cut it into minced garlic with a kitchen knife and put it in a bowl for later use.

2. Add a little aged vinegar, soy sauce, salt and MSG. To enhance the flavor, you can also add a little sugar.

3. Some people like to add condiments such as Wei Ji Xian when making dipping sauces. The taste is indeed delicious, but from personal experience, I am reluctant to use such condiments. I would rather use less MSG and a little sugar instead.

4. If you want to make the dipping sauce more delicious, add a few drops of sesame oil into the bowl and it will be perfect.

5. Stir the prepared dipping sauce evenly with chopsticks and it is ready to eat. It should be noted that this method of making the dipping sauce is simple and applicable. Make it when eating dumplings. Don't make too much, just enough for one meal. It would be a pity to throw away what you can't finish, and it may go bad if you keep it for the next meal.

Precautions

If the garlic is too spicy when pounding, you can add a little salt when pounding the garlic to make the garlic sauce fragrant but not spicy.
