1. Prepare all the materials one by one!

2. Put glutinous rice flour, sticky rice flour and starch into a container and mix well!

3. Add sugar to the flour!

4. Mix sugar and flour well!

5. Add half of the milk into the flour!

6. Mix the milk and flour until smooth and even! The batter is very thick at this point!

7. Add the remaining half of the milk into the batter!

8. Mix the milk and batter evenly and finely until it becomes a thin state like this!

9. Add vegetable oil to the batter!

10. Mix the oil and batter evenly and smoothly!

11. Cover the batter with plastic wrap!

12. Put the batter into the pot and steam it! It will take about 40-45 minutes!

13. While waiting for the food to be steamed, prepare the filling and mix the red bean paste!

14. Roll the red bean paste into small balls and set aside! Add some banana chunks to one portion!

15. Fry 50 grams of glutinous rice flour!

16. There will be a layer of floating oil on the steamed batter, but it’s okay. Just stir it evenly after it cools down!

17. Mix the batter and floating oil until even and smooth! Refrigerate for 1 hour!

18. Take the dough out of the refrigerator and divide it into three parts. Add cocoa powder to one part, strawberry powder to one part, and keep the other part original flavor! Knead into a fine dough and set aside!

19. Put the filling into the dough and wrap it up!

20. Knead it into a ball like this!

21. Sprinkle the dough with fried glutinous rice flour and put it into the mold!

22. Press the mold and the mooncake will take shape!

23. Just put them in place one by one and you’re done!

24. There was a little too much dough, so I made a few snow meringues! Not bad!
