How to make Lanzhou beef noodles

1. Soak the beef in cold water. If you want the soup to be rich, you should have beef bones, but I omitted them because I didn’t have any at home.

If you don’t have enough time, you can use a pressure cooker and it will be ready in half an hour after the steam starts to rise. It is best to stew it for more than three hours without a pressure cooker. After two and a half hours, remove the beef, let it cool and slice it.

6. After the oil is heated and starts to smoke slightly, wait for ten seconds before pouring it in. The finer the chili powder, the lower the oil temperature should be, otherwise it will burn easily.

7. Slice the white radish and chop the coriander and garlic sprouts. It’s hard to buy American garlic sprouts, so I grow them myself. They are very thin. After taking out the meat, put the white radish in and cook until it is translucent and then turn off the heat.

8. After the soup is ready, boil water and add it. If you can buy suitable noodles, you don’t have to make them yourself. Any behavior that does not accept the social division of labor is Lanzhou beef noodles. This kind of Korean fresh noodles is of very good quality and chewy. It can be said that it is better than the noodles in many beef noodle restaurants in Lanzhou. The only downside is that there are only two thin :)

9. After the noodles are cooked, rinse them with cold water. Add the boiled beef soup, sprinkle with coriander and garlic sprouts, and pour oil and chili peppers on it. It's really full
