Lemon Curd Baiser Pie Recipe

4. Place the refrigerated dough between plastic wraps and spread it out.

5. Place the rolled dough on the buttered mold.

6. Cover the dough with baking paper and pour the beans on it. Place in preheated oven at 190 degrees for about 15 minutes. Then remove the beans and baking paper and bake for about 10 minutes more, until the crust is golden brown.

7. Lemon sauce: Put milk and 30g sugar in a small pot and bring to boil.

8. Mix the egg yolk and starch evenly.

9. Add 2 spoons of hot milk to the egg yolk paste and stir well.

10. Then slowly add the remaining milk and stir well.

11. Squeeze the lemon juice and add it to the egg yolk and milk paste. Add the toasted lemon zest.

12. Mix everything well to make lemon egg yolk paste.

13. Baiser part: Beat the egg whites until foamy, then slowly add in powdered sugar and beat until stiff.

14. Take out the baked cake base and wait until it is no longer hot.

15. Take some egg whites and add them to the lemon egg yolk paste, stir carefully until evenly mixed, then pour it onto the cake base.

16. Carefully pour the remaining egg whites on the lemon egg yolk paste and make some patterns with a knife.

17. Put the cake in the oven at the lowest temperature and bake until the surface of the Baiser becomes browned and the color is satisfactory.
