How to stew pork elbow

Maybe you have a lot of friends, but it is impossible for you to be with them every day. Even if you are together every day, you definitely won’t be able to cook for yourself when you are young. So, in order to survive better, I will teach you how to stew pork elbow.

1. Wash the elbow, put it in a pot and boil it to remove the blood. Then remove the bones while still hot. (Don’t throw away the bones!!)

2. Put on disposable gloves and evenly apply salt, chicken essence and pepper on the inside and outside of the elbow. After 2 hours of cooking, tie the meat up with string to prevent the skin and meat from separating during the stewing process.

3. Put the elbows and bones into cold water, bring to a boil over high heat, and skim off the foam. Then add onion, ginger, garlic, fennel, cloves, pepper, star anise, cinnamon, bay leaves, licorice, mushrooms, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, a little sugar and a little salt. Cover the lid and simmer for about 2 and a half hours until the skin and meat are tender.
