How to make Northeastern potato sauce

3. Put the cut potato strips in a bowl and pour in cold water to soak away the starch.

5. Pour oil into the pan, add 13 spices, green onion and red pepper and stir-fry until fragrant.

6. Add potato strips and stir-fry for one minute.

7. Pour in the prepared soybean paste.

8. Add water to cover the potato strips.

9. Northeastern soybean paste is homemade and very salty, so no edible salt is added.

10. Cover the pot and simmer on low heat until the water is slightly dry.
