How to make Shaomai, simple and delicious

Shaomai has always been a food with a good taste, so it is more popular with everyone. Many people think that Shaomai and dumplings are very similar, but the dumplings we eat are generally boiled in water, while Shaomai needs to be steamed in a steamer like a steamed bun. Most Shaomai are filled with meat and taste very fragrant. So how to make Shaomai simple and delicious?

Carrot, Mushroom and Pork Shaomai

Ingredients: 300g dumpling wrapper, 400g glutinous rice, 1 carrot

Salt to taste Shallots and mushrooms to taste Pork and chicken stock to taste Soy sauce and shallots to taste

Steps:

(1) Soak the glutinous rice and mushrooms. Soak the glutinous rice for 10 minutes and cook it in a rice cooker. I used the water used to soak the mushrooms to cook the glutinous rice. The rice cooked is very fragrant. Remember to use less water when cooking;

(2) Chop the pork, onions, mushrooms and carrots. Remember not to mix them together. Stir-fry them separately. Add oil, salt and chicken essence, just like any other dish.

(3) Place the cooked rice on a plate to cool, then add carrots, mushrooms, pork, and soy sauce and mix well;

(4) Put the filling into the dumpling wrapper and pinch it with your hands without sealing it;

(5) Add some chopped green onions after kneading.
