How to make winter melon and meat buns

1. Mix the main ingredients in a large bowl and stir with chopsticks until it becomes flocculent.

2.1 Now let’s prepare the meat filling. Peel the winter melon and cut it into small cubes. Chop the pork into minced meat.

3.2 Then knead it into a smooth dough with your hands, and then cover it with plastic wrap to ferment

4.1 Add half a bowl of pepper water soaked in advance to the minced meat in batches

5.2 Add all the seasonings into the minced pork and stir evenly with chopsticks!

6.1 Add diced winter melon

7.2 Stir in one direction each time you add water until the meat absorbs all the water, then add the next amount of water.

8.1 The dough will rise to about twice its size

9.2 Mix well and the meat filling is ready!

10. Take out and knead evenly, then divide into small pieces of 35g each

11. Roll each into a round skin

12. Wrap with winter melon and meat filling

13. After each one is done, place it on the whole, cover it with a lid, and let it ferment for another 15 minutes

14. After it has risen, add cold water into the pot and steam it over medium heat for about 15 minutes. Don’t open the lid until 3 minutes after turning off the heat!
