What to eat with sushi

What to eat with sushi

Sushi is a relatively delicious food, and people can easily come into contact with sushi in their daily diet. Of course, when eating sushi, in order to improve the taste of sushi, many people will choose to make certain dipping sauces and eat the sushi with the dipping sauces. So, what kind of dipping sauce is better for eating sushi? Here are some dipping sauces suitable for sushi!

1. Soy Sauce

Sushi is an extremely simple dish to make. A piece of sashimi, two pieces of prawns, or a handful of golden and translucent crab roe can be placed on the kneaded rice ball, and a delicious nigiri sushi is ready. Nigiri sushi is the more traditional sushi, while hand-rolled sushi is more common. Hand-rolled sushi requires rolling up the sushi rice and ingredients with seaweed, nori, egg skin, tofu skin, etc., and then dipping it in Japanese soy sauce for seasoning when eating.

2. Mustard

Mustard can reduce the smell of raw fish, and more importantly, it can effectively inhibit microorganisms and bacteria that may cause food poisoning.

Japanese sushi is always served with wasabi. If you buy it in China, you have to add some wasabi.

It is not advisable to mix wasabi and soy sauce into a paste and use it to dip sushi. They should be dipped separately.

When eating, just dip about 1/4 of one end of the sushi into soy sauce. Of course, Sanli vegetables are the best, but they are probably not sold there.

3. Vinegar and Ginger

In addition to thick soy sauce and green mustard, sushi has another more important condiment - vinegar and ginger. Eating sushi with a piece of vinegar ginger not only helps to enhance the flavor, but also makes the sushi more refreshing and delicious.

4. Key points of eating sushi

1. When eating sushi, you can use chopsticks or hold it with your hands.

2. When dipping sushi in soy sauce, use the side with the filling, not the side with the rice grains.

3. When eating sushi, in order to better experience the original taste of the sushi, let the oily part of the sushi touch your tongue first.

4. If you order a sushi set, the order of placement is important. Please start eating from the sushi closest to the chopsticks.

5. Only unused chopsticks can be placed on the chopstick holder. Putting chopsticks on the soy sauce dish means you are full.

6. Do not rub the chopsticks against each other.

7. Do not put half-eaten sushi back on the sushi board.

8. Don't put ginger slices on sushi.

9. Do not mix the mustard in the soy sauce. Use chopsticks to pick up the mustard and place it directly on the sushi.

10. Do not pay cash to the sushi chef, as the sushi chef's hands cannot directly touch cash.
