When caramel bird eggs meet glutinous rice dumplings

1. First, boil the zongzi leaves (bamboo leaves) and salt grass ropes in boiling water for a while to sterilize them at high temperature. 2. Wash the glutinous rice 2 or 3 times with clean water, and soak it in clean water for at least 1 hour.

3. Marinate the pork belly with five-spice powder and appropriate amount of salt for one hour in advance

5. For the other ingredients below, the mung beans need to be soaked for 2 to 3 hours in advance, and the caramel bird eggs need to be cooked in advance. Chop the other ingredients into small pieces and fry them in hot oil.

6. Add all the prepared ingredients, shacha, and appropriate amount of oil and salt to the soaked glutinous rice.

7. Then mix all the ingredients evenly.

8. It’s time to start making rice dumplings. Mom is good at making triangular rice dumplings! Each wrapped rice dumpling is delicate and beautiful!

12. Then boil a pot of water and put the wrapped dumplings in to cook. It will take about 40 minutes to cook... If it's too short, it may not be cooked, and if it's too long, it may be too mushy! 40 minutes is just right!

13. It’s out of the pot, you can eat it!

It's nice to go to a restaurant outside occasionally to change the taste, but it's best not to go there too often. When caramel bird eggs meet glutinous rice dumplings, the method is simple, so it doesn't matter if you are not a good cook.
