How to make golden pickled cabbage buns

1. Mix cornmeal, white flour (white flour is twice as much as cornmeal), and sugar together and stir evenly.

2. Put yeast powder into warm water and add milk and stir evenly.

3. Pour the yeast water into the dough and put it in a warm place to ferment.

4. Wait until the flour is fermented and there are pores on the surface. If there is no rebound after rubbing with your fingers, it is done.

5. Knead the dough into long strips

6. Cut into pieces

7. Roll into a ball and flatten it

8. Make the dough (sorry for the poor technique^ω^)

9. After wrapping, let it rest for 10 minutes.

10. Turn off the heat with cold water and prepare to steam (I am lazy, so I just put oil on the lotus seeds and put the buns on them so they won’t stick. It is also good to wet a cloth if you have one)

11. Put the steamer on low heat with cold water and steam for 15 to 20 minutes. This depends on the size of the buns and whether it is a battery stove or a gas stove. When the time is up, do not immediately open the pot. Let it simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
