How to make crispy bread

1. Put milk, egg liquid and milk powder into the bread bucket.

2. Place salt and sugar diagonally, then add flour and yeast on top, and start the bread machine's kneading program.

3. After kneading the dough for half an hour, add the softened butter.

4. Knead the dough for an hour until it forms a film.

5. Put the dough into a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap, or directly put it in a bread bucket for the first fermentation.

6. Ferment until it is 2.5 times larger than its original size.

7. After releasing the air, knead it evenly, divide it into five portions and relax for twenty minutes.

8. Take a piece of dough and knead it into an olive shape with pointed ends and thicker middle.

9. Press slightly flat.

10. Place it in the bread tray. If there is no bread tray, you can put it directly into the baking tray.

11. Drain the baking tray for secondary fermentation.

12. Ferment until it is twice its original size.

13. Make the shortcrust batter: Add powdered sugar to the softened butter.

14. Beat with a whisk until white and fluffy, then sift in the low-gluten flour.

15. Mix well with a spatula.

16. Put it into the piping bag and cut a small hole in the piping bag.

17. Brush the bread dough with egg liquid and then squeeze the shortbread batter on it. (Pattern optional)

18. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, bake on the middle layer for 20 minutes, and cover with tin foil after the bread is colored.

19. Freshly baked, another one was taken away immediately!
