1. Grilled Pomfret

Before grilling the pomfret, you need to cut noodles on both sides of the pomfret with a knife. The shapes vary, depending on the person. It can be diamond-shaped, parallelepipedal, in short, it can be creative as you like. Then rub fine salt on both sides of the fish and sprinkle some black pepper. Leave it like this for two or three hours. When the surface of the fish is slightly dry, you can put it in the oven. Note that when baking, put a piece of butter on the surface of the fish. Bake each side for about six or seven minutes. When both sides are browned, you can take it out of the oven. The preparation of this dish saves the trouble of heating up the pan with oil, and since the fish has been marinated with fine salt, it tastes very delicious. Of course, pomfret can also be cooked in the form of dry-fried pomfret, which is also a very famous dish. However, you need to heat up a large pot of oil at home and fry the pomfret in the pan. This method is not only unhealthy but also troublesome and wastes a lot of cooking oil.

2. Baked potatoes

Although potatoes may seem insignificant, there are many ways to cook them, the most famous of which is beef stew with potatoes. Potatoes cooked in the oven have a special flavor. Cut the potatoes into two and a half ovals, sprinkle with fine salt and black pepper, add a small piece of butter, put them in the oven, and bake for about twenty minutes before taking them out of the oven. This dish can be described in one word: delicious! Of course, it is also very healthy and can be used as both a dish and a meal.

3. Grilled Lamb Chops

There are many ways to cook lamb chops, and it is not easy for ordinary families to make it because it involves a lot of seasonings and other things that the family does not have. Using an oven can save you from all this trouble. The bone-in New Zealand lamb chops usually sold in Carrefour are suitable for cooking in the oven at home. Wipe dry the lamb chops, sprinkle with fine salt, don't forget black pepper, put them in the oven, and turn them over as soon as the blood comes out. It only takes about ten minutes to take them out of the oven. When eating, be sure to squeeze some lemon juice on the lamb chops. The fresh and tender taste is not available in ordinary Western restaurants. The price of four lamb chops in Carrefour is about 30 yuan. If you buy them in a Western restaurant, it is hard to say how much it would cost. Of course, it also depends on who you are inviting to have Western food.
