How to make chiffon cake with floral pattern

1. Prepare the necessary materials

3. Beat the egg yolks and add corn oil.

4. Then add milk and continue to beat evenly.

6. Mix the low-gluten flour and baking powder, sieve them and add them to the egg yolk bowl.

7. Use a rubber spatula to stir evenly. Do not beat it as it will easily cause gluten to form. Mix it into a uniform batter without any flour particles.

8. Add a few drops of lemon juice or white vinegar to the egg white bowl.

9. Add sugar three times and beat with an electric whisk.

10. Beat the egg whites until they are 90% divided. Stop beating the egg whites. When the egg whites can be pulled out into a small vertical point and will not fall down, it means that they have reached the state of dry foaming. Do not continue beating.

11. Use a rubber spatula to take one-third of the egg whites into the egg yolk bowl and stir gently, like cooking. Do not stir in circles, which will easily eliminate the bubbles.

12. Pour the mixed batter into the egg white bowl and continue to stir evenly.

13. The batter has a slight glossiness and is not as uniform as the egg whites.

14. Pour the batter into the cake mold, scrape the batter in the bowl clean, and shake it a few times to remove the large bubbles inside.

15. Leave a part of the batter, pour in the cocoa powder and continue to stir evenly

16. Put it into the piping bag and cut a small hole

17. Squeeze out circles on the surface of the cake batter

18. Use a toothpick to draw a flower pattern from the edge to the center

19. Preheat the oven, place it in the middle layer of the oven at 150°, and bake for about 50 minutes

20. After it comes out of the oven, lift the mold and drop it a few times to shake out the heat inside the cake, then quickly turn it upside down, which also acts as a pull-down to prevent the cake from collapsing.
