How to make steamed chiffon cake

A reasonable diet is not only good for physical health, but also can have a certain therapeutic effect on some diseases. In normal times, we must not just settle for three meals a day. In fact, many delicious meals do not require too many skills. The method of steamed chiffon cake is very simple and contains a variety of nutrients.

1. Weigh the required materials according to the formula

2. Separate the egg yolk and egg white. The container for the egg white must be free of water and oil.

3. Add sugar and water to the egg yolks, beat the egg yolks with a manual egg beater, and stir until the sugar melts.

4. Add corn oil and continue stirring until there is no obvious oil droplets.

5. Sift in the low flour and stir evenly from bottom to top with a spatula.

6. The stirred egg liquid should be fine and thick. Now start to boil hot water in the pot.

7. Next, start beating the egg whites. The whisk head must be dry and free of water. Before beating, add a few drops of white vinegar to the egg whites. When the egg whites have a lot of coarse bubbles, add one-third of white sugar and continue beating.

8. When the bubbles are fine and have lines, add one-third of sugar and continue beating.

9. When the texture is clear, add the remaining sugar and continue beating.

10. Beat until you can lift the whisk and see short, upright corners.

11. Add one-third of the whipped meringue to the egg yolk liquid and stir quickly.

12. Then pour the stirred egg yolk liquid back into the meringue, and stir the cake liquid in the same way.

13. Pour the prepared cake batter into a clean mold and gently shake the mold a few times to shake out the bubbles. When the water in the pot is boiling, put the cake in to steam.

14. Steam over high heat for about 20 minutes. Poke it with a toothpick and pull it out. When there is nothing attached to the toothpick, turn off the heat and simmer for another three to five minutes. Then take out the cake and turn it upside down for about ten minutes, and gently press the edges of the cake to remove it from the mold. I forgot to take a picture here.
