When traveling, in addition to wanting to see some beautiful scenery, you also want to try the local food. For example, in Xi'an of our country, going to Xi'an and not eating the food is equivalent to not having been to Xi'an. The same goes for traveling abroad. In addition to understanding the local landscape, you also need to try the local food. The following article mainly introduces the must-eat foods in Paris. Those who want to travel there must take a look. 1. Coffee! It’s safe to say that Paris has made me a coffee lover. Well, to be honest, this is a chronic coffee. I’ll have my way with a latte, cappuccino or an Americano! You have a café everywhere in Paris and it’s hard not to go in when you smell coffee a block away. One thing I like is that they all have their own unique touch in flavor, garnish, mix, flavor, and ambiance. Cheese, lots and lots of it! France has some amazing cheese shops! There are even cheese food tours! One thing we noticed was that they offered cheese boards at every restaurant we went to. I’ve never had so much cheese in a meal before and as a cheese lover, absolutely loved every minute of it! 3. French Onion Soup My favorite soup - French onion soup. If you like onions and cheese, you need to try this! It’s a French dish that you can find everywhere. It’s called “French” onion soup for a reason; the French know their soup! 4. ESCARGOT Probably one of the most popular dishes in the world. This is French snails! They are cooked snails with a hint of butter and garlic. This is a delicacy from France that you must try when you are there. 5. OSSOBUCO This was the first time I had heard of Ossobuco and I’m so glad I tried it! Ossobuco is a classic Italian dish made of braised veal shanks in a rich wine, tomato, and aromatic sauce. It also comes with pasta which makes the dish perfect! 6. LADUREE EGGS BENEDICT There's no other 'eggs Benedict' than this! Laduree restaurant in Paris serves it with two poached eggs, very crispy English muffins and warm hollandaise sauce on the side. It's really great! 7. GNOCHI This specialty dish comes from L'Atlas, one of the famous restaurants on Rue De Buci. This is their truffle cream gnocchi. One of the best dishes I have ever had! I love gnocchi, but with their special truffle sauce, it was out of this world! 8. Crepe Crêpe should be number one on this list, but since we’re not putting it in any particular order, here it is number 8! Crêpe makers are all over the streets of Paris! It can be served as a meal or a dessert, depending on the toppings you choose. You don’t want to leave Paris without tasting a traditional crepe! The photo above is a cheese and mushroom crepe. 9. Long pasta Have you ever had spaghetti before? How about 5-foot-long noodles? 10 feet? 30 feet? Paris is known to serve the most outrageously long pasta! You might have a lot of fun trying it! 10. Hot Chocolate This was one of the best hot chocolates I have ever had in my life. I say this a lot, but I really like everything I try now. Un Dimanche à Paris is a great place to go for dessert! They serve the creamiest, most chocolaty drink in the world! It’s so delicious and filling, you only need a small cup. |
