Red dates are a relatively good ingredient for making biscuits. People often make red date flavored biscuits by adding appropriate ingredients according to people's needs. How to make red date biscuits?

Materials

130g low-gluten flour

75g animal butter

25g brown sugar

25ml egg

50g red dates (pitted)

How to make red date biscuits

Soften the butter into liquid

Melt the brown sugar

Chop the pitted red dates into small pieces (as small as possible)

After the butter is melted, add the melted brown sugar and mix well. Add the egg liquid and mix well.

Add sifted low flour and stir until there is no dry powder.

Start shaping

Method 1: Knead the dough into a cylindrical shape, put it in the refrigerator and freeze it for 45 minutes, then take it out and cut it into round pieces with a thickness of 0.5 cm.

Method 2: Roll the dough into a 0.5 cm thick dough sheet and use a small cookie cutter to print out your favorite shape.

Preheat oven to 175 degrees (10 minutes)

Send to the oven and bake for 20 minutes (the whole house is filled with the smell of red dates, it is so fragrant)

Remove from oven, cool, and seal for storage.

Tips

The finished biscuits are lightly sweet, relatively healthy, and suitable for parents and children. If you like them sweeter, you can add 5 grams of white sugar~
