How to make purple snail flower steamed buns

The method of making purple snail flower steamed buns is very simple and can indirectly allow the family to live together better.

1. Steam the purple sweet potato and grind it into powder while it is hot.

2. Mix water with purple sweet potato powder, add appropriate amount of dry yeast and stir until the dry yeast melts. Then use this bowl of purple sweet potato liquid with dry yeast to mix with flour to get a purple dough.

3. Cover the kneaded purple dough with a lid and let it ferment in a warm place until it doubles in size.

4. Press and knead the fermented dough to release air and make it into small pieces of uniform size. Roll out 5 pieces of dough of the same size like making dumplings. Stack them together and use chopsticks to gently press out a center line.

5. Roll up the dough from bottom to top, and then cut it in half along the center line with a knife.

6. Take one of the flower buds and unfold the petals one by one along the direction of the petals to form an open small snail flower. Use the same method to make all the small snail flowers.

7. Put the finished small snail buns in the steamer and steam them on high heat for 15 minutes, then on low heat for 5 minutes and simmer for 5 minutes.
