How to make jujube paste steamed buns

In fact, many delicious meals do not require too many skills. The method of making jujube paste steamed buns is very simple and contains a variety of nutrients.

1. Remove the core of the red dates, then put them into a soymilk maker to make a paste (it’s best to put them in a food processor, but I didn’t have one so I used a soymilk maker instead)

2. When the red date paste is warm, add appropriate amount of honey. First, add yeast to a small bowl and put it into the flour. Add appropriate amount of red date paste according to the softness of the dough. (Because the red date paste I made was relatively thin, I didn’t add water, and only added the red date paste to the dough)

3. Knead it like this and then cover it with a lid and wait for the dough to rise.

4. When the dough has doubled in size and has become honeycomb-like inside, add some baking soda to remove the acid. Knead well and divide into several small pieces. Roll into a ball. Grease the steamer, put the kneaded dough in, and let it rise for the second time.

5. Turn on the fire, and after the steam comes up over high heat, switch to medium heat and steam for ten minutes. Turn off the heat and simmer for five minutes.
