Egg waffle recipe and ingredients

Eggettes are a very famous snack in Taiwan. Many people buy this snack when they go shopping. They are soft and sticky, very sweet, and have the unique aroma of eggs. It is because of this combination that many people are willing to eat this snack. However, if you want to make it yourself, it is best to use a model, which will make it easier to make.

Production method 1

1. Sift together flour, baking powder, custard powder, cornstarch, etc.

2. Beat the eggs and sugar, then add in milk and beat thoroughly.

3. Add the sifted powder and water into the egg and sugar, beat until it becomes a batter. Finally add oil and mix well for 30 minutes and set aside.

4. Heat both sides of the egg mold and inject the batter until it is 80% full.

5.Clamp the mold and shake it evenly, then turn it upside down and place it on the stove. Cook the bottom side over medium-low heat for 2 minutes each.

6. Use a fork to remove the mold and eat.

Production method 2

Main ingredients: sugar, eggs, water, corn oil

Accessories: low-gluten flour, corn starch, baking powder

1. Sift together 140g of low-gluten flour, 20g of corn starch and 4g of baking powder and set aside.

2. 80 grams of white sugar and 100 grams of eggs. Crack the eggs and put them into a larger bowl, add the white sugar and beat it with a whisk.

3. Then pour the clean water in 100 grams of clean water and 50 grams of corn oil into the beaten egg liquid and beat it with an egg beater.

4. Then pour in the corn oil and continue to beat it evenly with an egg beater.

5. Pour all the powders in step 1 in at once, mix well with a whisk and let it sit for 15 minutes.

6. Preheat the egg waffle mold on the gas stove and brush it with a layer of oil.

7. Use a spoon to scoop an appropriate amount of egg batter into the groove of the mold until it is full.

8. After closing the mold, turn it over and heat for 30 seconds

9. Then turn it over and bake for 1-3 minutes, then bake the other side for another 1-3 minutes.

10. Take it out after turning off the heat. If you like to roll it, do it while it is hot. Then make the batter in order. [2]

Note: After taking out the egg waffles, place them on a drying rack for about 2 minutes to allow the heat and steam to dissipate before eating. The egg waffles will be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Ingredients: 2 eggs, 30g oil, 5g milk powder, 6g baking powder, 165g milk, 28g tapioca flour, 50g sugar, 140g low-gluten flour, 28g cornstarch
