How to make Sydney Lily Tremella Soup

Cooking by yourself is indeed a very happy thing. Only people who can cook can understand this. Here is a recipe for snow pear, lily and white fungus soup. You can make it yourself.

1. I bought the big ugly ones. Actually, it was the first time for me to eat such big Tremella fuciformis. .

2.12 Choose a large Tremella fuciformis and soak it in water.

3.21 I soaked it for about 4 hours and the white fungus has fully expanded.

The big one on 4.12 has grown quite big, even bigger than my palm.

5.21 Tear the soaked white fungus into pieces and put it in a bowl for later use.

6. Break the fresh lilies apart, wash them, and soak them in water for about half an hour.

7. Then wash, pick up and drain.

8. Peel the pear, cut into pieces and set aside

9. Pour the prepared white fungus and lily into the cooking pot and add water. You can add a little more water, otherwise the white fungus will become gelatinous and the lily will become thick after being cooked. Adding more water will not make it thick.

10. Bring to a boil, turn off the heat, then place the whole pot into the prepared stew pot, and simmer over low heat for about 2 hours. The Tremella soup will have gelatinized and the soup will become thick. The lily bulbs will have almost melted. Add rock sugar and pear, then simmer for another 10 minutes before turning off the heat.

11. Stir the Tremella soup evenly and let it cool. You can also put it in the refrigerator after cooling it down, which will make it taste better.

12. The pear blocks can still be seen.
