1. Mix cornmeal and all-purpose flour (the ratio is 2:1), add boiling water and stir with chopsticks until it becomes flocculent

2. Form the dough and let the sugar rise for 20 minutes

3. Put the meat filling in the container

4. Crush half a block of tofu with your hands, cut mushrooms into small pieces, and chop green onions.

5. Add soy sauce, salt, thirteen spices and pepper oil to the meat filling and stir evenly in a clockwise direction.

6. Add tofu and mushrooms

7. Stir well

8. Add shallots and mix well

9. Knead the dough again and roll it into long strips

10. Cut into equal portions with a knife and flatten

11. Roll into dumpling wrappers

12. Take a dumpling wrapper and put enough fillings on it.

13. Fold in half and pinch tightly to form a crescent shape

14. Fold both sides towards the middle and pinch the joints tightly

15. Steam in a steamer for 15 minutes

16. Remove from the pan and serve
