(II) Storage methods of apples First, select the ripe apples without mechanical damage, soak them in 3% salt water for 6 minutes, then take them out to dry, wrap them with soft white paper, and store them according to the following two methods: 1. Water tank storage method First, clean the water tank and dry it, then place it in a cool place. Place a can filled with clean water at the bottom of the tank without covering it with a lid. In the morning when the temperature is low, put the wrapped apples into the jar layer by layer. When the jar is full, seal the mouth with a piece of plastic film. This storage method can store apples for 5 months with a good quality rate of over 90%. 2. Wooden box storage method Place several layers of paper on the bottom and around the box, and put 10 wrapped apples into a small plastic bag. In the morning when the temperature is low, place two bags full of apples face-to-face in the box. Fill the box layer by layer, cover it with several layers of paper, then seal it and place it in a cool place. This storage method can generally store apples for 6 months. |
