How to make espresso walnut toast

1. Put all the ingredients (except butter and walnut kernels) into the bread machine bucket and knead until the gluten begins to form. Then add butter and continue kneading until the dough expands. Take out the dough and put it on the table, add the previously roasted and chopped walnut kernels, and use the scraper to fold the walnut kernels into the dough. Do not knead too much, and the walnut kernels are roughly evenly distributed in the dough.

2. Cover with plastic wrap and place in a warm and humid place for basic fermentation until it is twice as large and does not bounce back when pressed with a finger.

3. After removing the air, divide the dough into 7 equal parts, roll each into a ball, cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes.

4. Exhaust again. Then roll each dough into a round shape and place it into the toast mold as shown above, and ferment it until it is full.

5. You can brush the top with egg wash if you like (or not), put it into the preheated oven at 175 degrees, bake it for 40 minutes, and cover it with tin foil immediately after you see the color (about 10 minutes) to prevent it from being too dark.

6. Remove from the mold immediately after taking it out, let it cool on the grill and then store it in a bag.
