1. Mix eggs, milk, butter and vanilla extract.

2. Cut the bread into thick slices (most people, including me, think thicker slices taste better, but of course, your taste is the most important thing)

3. Soak the bread in egg and milk mixture on both sides; put a proper amount of butter in the pan, then put the bread slices in and start frying.

4. Turn over and fry the other side when one side is golden brown. When both sides are golden brown, set aside.

5. Heat the remaining butter in the pan (or add a little more if there is no butter left), put in the peeled and halved bananas, sprinkle a little brown sugar on the surface of the bananas; turn over after one side is golden brown, and fry the other side (it is best to use relatively unripe bananas so that they are easier to keep intact. My bananas were too ripe so they broke when I turned them over), and both sides are golden brown.

6. Finally, sprinkle with almond slices and drizzle with syrup (I rolled the almond slices in the pan where the bananas were fried, so that they were coated with caramel, which was very fragrant)
