How to cook Zongzi and wild rice stem

If you want to make delicious food, you must prepare all the necessary ingredients, seasonings, and tableware. Of course, the most important thing is to control the heat. After all this is prepared, we will start making zongzi and roasted wild rice stem.

1. Peel the skin of the ham rice dumpling and cut it into small pieces about 2 cm in size with a rolling knife.

2.1 Heat cooking oil in a wok, add rice dumplings and fry until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

3.2 Wash the wild rice stem and cut it into pieces the size of rice dumplings. Chop the green onion into sections and slice the ginger and garlic for later use.

4.1 Add wild rice stem and stir-fry.

5.2 Add onion, ginger and garlic into the pan and stir-fry until fragrant.

6. Pour a large bowl of water and bring it to a boil. Add salt, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and rock sugar. Simmer the water bamboo shoots over medium-low heat.

7. When the water bamboo shoots are cooked, add the fried rice dumplings and cook until the sauce is reduced.

8. Add green and red peppers and stir-fry. Add appropriate amount of salt and a little MSG and stir-fry evenly.
