How to make crispy fried dough twist

Ingredients: all-purpose flour, eggs, white sugar, yeast, salt, cooking oil, baking soda.

1. Prepare the ingredients first, then prepare a bowl, pour the yeast into the bowl, pour an appropriate amount of warm water into the bowl to dissolve the yeast, then prepare a clean basin, pour the flour into the basin first, then pour in eggs, cooking oil, just dissolved yeast water, white sugar and baking soda in order, mix them together with chopsticks and stir evenly;

2. After mixing evenly, use your hands to knead the flour paste into a smooth dough, then seal the bowl with plastic wrap and leave it here to rest, which takes about half an hour;

3. After the dough has risen, take it out and put it on the chopping board and knead it into a long strip, then cut it into sections, and then knead the cut sections into small strips. Finally, twist the two small strips together to make a twist shape.

4. The long strips kneaded into a twist shape will have two ends. If you stuff the two ends into the twist, you can't see them. As shown in the picture, the two ends of the unstuck end are separated, and the stuffed end is invisible.

5. After the twisted dough sticks are kneaded, prepare a pot, pour enough cooking oil into the pot, heat the oil over high heat, turn to medium heat when the oil is 50% hot, then put the kneaded twisted dough sticks in and fry them. During the frying process, use chopsticks to constantly turn the twisted dough sticks to ensure even heating. When the twisted dough sticks float up and turn golden yellow, you can take them out and drain the oil. Our twisted dough sticks are ready (it should be noted that when frying the twisted dough sticks, put in the amount of twisted dough sticks according to the size of the pot, and do not let the twisted dough sticks be too crowded, otherwise they will stick together).
