1. Add yeast powder to half white flour and half pumpkin flour respectively and knead them into dough. Let ferment fully. Divide the fermented white flour and pumpkin flour into equal amounts of dough pieces. Roll the white flour dough pieces into round skins and the pumpkin flour dough pieces into balls.

2. Wrap a pumpkin dough ball with a white dough as you would with dumplings, then make folds.

3. Roll it into a round pancake with the crease facing downwards.

4. Use a knife to cut into 8 to 12 petals.

5. Twist it slightly so that the cross section faces upwards and let the sugar rise for 15 minutes.

6. Pour cold water into the steamer, steam on high heat for 13 minutes, then turn off the heat and wait for 3 minutes before removing the lid.
