12. Then spread wet gauze in the steamer and pour the fermented dough into the steamer.

13. Place appropriate amount of candied dates on top and sprinkle evenly with green and red silk.

14. After spreading the candied dates on the surface, lift up the four corners of the steamer cloth to allow for ventilation during the steaming process.

15. Then cover the pot and steam over high heat for 40 minutes.

16. After steaming, open the lid and let it dry for a while.

17. When the steamed cake is cooled until it is no longer hot to the touch, move it onto the bamboo curtain and remove the curtain cloth.

18. After the steamed cake has cooled, you can use a knife to cut it into pieces of appropriate size for consumption.
