How to make good-looking steamed buns

1.1 Put the chopped meat into a bowl, add salt, light soy sauce, white pepper powder and a little sugar (to enhance the flavor).

2.2 Buy the pork filling and chop it into paste with a knife. (Pork filling is used to save time, pork is better)

3.12 Use hot water to rinse out the aroma of scallions, ginger and peppercorns. After they cool, filter out the scallions, ginger, etc.

4.21 Slowly stir the water into the pork filling in batches.

5. When stirring, be sure to stir in one direction and add the water in batches until the meat filling becomes sticky. (I use a kitchen machine to save trouble)

7. Pinch the dough into pieces of appropriate size.

8. Press.

9. Take a bun skin and fill it with meat filling.

10. Pinch the bun skin with the thumb and index finger of your right hand, press down one fold at a time, and lift and pull the dough while pinching.

11. Wrap them one by one and let them rest for 15 minutes.

12. Turn on the heat and steam for 10-15 minutes depending on the size of the buns. Turn off the heat, simmer for 5 minutes and then open the lid.
