How to make kimchi pork stuffing siomai

Office workers are usually too busy with work to take care of themselves, so they may choose to eat out, which can easily have adverse effects on their health over time. In fact, many dishes are very simple, such as the recipe of kimchi and pork steamed buns, which is very suitable for making at home after get off work.

1. Add appropriate amount of water to two bowls of flour, knead into dough and let it rise for half an hour for later use.

2. Wash the pork, kimchi and onion, cut them into small pieces, add appropriate amount of oil, salt, soy sauce and thirteen spices, mix well and set aside.

3. Knead the dough, cut it into small pieces and make them into dumpling-like pieces.

4. Roll the dumpling dough like you would roll out dumpling skins, but a little thinner than dumpling skins. Roll it into lotus leaf edges and use it as siomai skins.

5. Add appropriate amount of stuffing into the siomai wrapper and close the top like I did. After closing the top, the siomai wrapper will look like a flower.

6. Put the prepared siomai into the steamer and put a non-stick cloth on the pot mat. I used corn husk.

7. Start steaming the siomai with cold water. After the water boils, steam it for 10 minutes and the siomai will be cooked.

8. Put the siomai on a plate. I use tomato skin to make a small flower. Isn’t it beautiful?

Even if not for ourselves, we should still cook for the sake of our family's health. The method of making kimchi and pork dumplings is very simple and good for health.
