How to make spotted cake roll

When making the spotted cake roll dish, you need to prepare appropriate amounts of chopped green onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and chicken essence. 1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

2. Use two clean, water-free containers to separate the egg whites and yolks and put them into the containers.

3. Add all the milk, 10 grams of sugar and 30 grams of oil into the egg yolk and mix well.

4. Sift the flour into the evenly stirred egg yolk liquid.

5. Stir until smooth and without particles. Do not stir for too long to avoid gluten formation.

6. Beat the egg whites. Add lemon juice (you can leave it out if you don’t have lemon juice) and the remaining sugar in two batches and start beating.

7. Beat the egg whites until the whisk has a hook shape when you lift it.

8. Add one third of the whipped egg whites into the egg yolk paste and mix well. (Note, stir up and down like cooking, do not make circles)

9. After mixing the above parts evenly, pour all of them into the remaining two-thirds of the egg whites and continue to mix evenly. At this time, preheat the oven to 150 degrees and set aside.

10. To make spots, add 3 grams of cocoa powder and powdered sugar into the remaining 10 grams of oil and stir until smooth and free of particles.

11. Add some of the mixed cake batter into the cocoa liquid and mix well, set aside.

12. Place a piece of greaseproof paper on the baking tray. Use a small spoon to scoop the prepared cocoa liquid onto the paper to make spots.

13. Pour the cake batter, spread it evenly and gently shake out the bubbles. Bake in the oven at 130 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

14. After the cake is baked, take it out and let it cool down. This is the flipped side. Doesn’t it look good?

15. Now you can whip the cream. Add the remaining powdered sugar to the whipped cream and beat until the cream has clear lines.

16. Spread the cream evenly, making sure to apply it on the side without spots!

17. Then roll it up gently. Be gentle, otherwise it will break and look ugly. Then wrap it with wax paper or oilcloth and put it in the refrigerator for two hours, then you can take it out and cut it and eat it.

18. Finished product!
