3. Make sure the bowl containing the chocolate is dry, otherwise the chocolate will deteriorate drastically and clump when it comes into contact with water, and it will not be able to form a liquid. )

4. Before the chocolate melts, brush the prepared aluminum cup with a thin layer of butter! The glass should also be brushed with butter. If you don’t have a brush, you can use kitchen paper to wipe it, the effect is the same.

5. The unsalted butter and chocolate have melted into liquid. Take them out and lower the temperature slightly so that they are not hot to the touch. Use a manual whisk to make circles to mix the butter and chocolate thoroughly. When no butter floats on the surface, it means they are mixed thoroughly.

6. Pour all the eggs and egg yolks into a bowl. Pour the granulated sugar and salt into the eggs. Use an electric whisk on medium speed to beat the granulated sugar until it melts.

7. Check the temperature of the chocolate. As long as it is not hot, you can mix it with the eggs. The chocolate liquid can only be cooled at room temperature. Then pour the eggs into the chocolate paste and mix well with a manual whisk.

8. Pour the rum in and mix it, then sift the flour and add it in. (You don’t have to add rum if you don’t have it) After mixing the wine and flour evenly, use a spatula to gently stir until evenly mixed. Do not over-mix. Over-mixing will make the batter thick, the flour will become glutenous, and the lava will be very thick when baking. After the flour is mixed, the chocolate lava batter is ready.

9. Pour the batter into a piping bag so that it is easier to squeeze into the mold. Pour the mold until it is 80% full. Let it sit for a while until it cools down completely!

10. During the cooling period, we can preheat the upper and lower layers of the oven to 220 degrees, put the cooled batter into the middle layer of the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.

11. After baking, let it cool for a while before removing it from the mold and eating it. If you are not sure, use a knife to scrape the edge slightly to make it easier to demould.

12. After removing from the mold, sprinkle some powdered sugar for decoration. Wouldn’t it look better?

13. After opening, all the lava flows out!
