How to make pumpkin buns

Some people say that whether a family is harmonious is related to whether the family members get together to eat. Indeed, cooking at home can allow the family to have more time together and can create a better family atmosphere. The method of making pumpkin buns and steamed buns is very simple and can indirectly allow the family to live together better.

1. Steam the pumpkin, peel it, cool it down, and mash it into a paste. Add flour and yeast powder to make a dough. Do not add water as the pumpkin itself has moisture.

2. Place in a warm and humid place to ferment until it doubles in size.

3. While the dough is rising, cut the side dishes into small pieces and fry them with a little oil. Add some salt, sugar, chicken essence, and five-spice powder. Set aside after frying.

4. Knead the fermented dough again to expel the air.

5. Divide the dough into small even pieces

6. Roll each into a dumpling skin shape (haha, my dough is too big, you can do it according to your preference)

7. Put the filling in, pinch it into a bun shape, and put it in the pot for a second rise.

8. After it has risen for more than ten minutes, you can start steaming. After steaming for fifteen minutes, cover it for another five minutes before serving (this is for the first pot).

9. This is the second pot plus the first pot. I also made dumpling-shaped buns. I didn’t have enough fillings, so I kneaded the remaining dough into small balls and made mini pumpkin buns. They are very soft and delicious.

If we want to have a healthy and strong body, we must first pay attention to our diet. The method of making pumpkin buns and steamed buns is very simple and you can make them whenever you want to eat them.
