How to make seared tuna

1. Wash the raw tuna chunks, dry them with absorbent paper, and sprinkle with salt and pepper on both sides. It is recommended to use less salt. You can dip it in soy sauce after it is out of the pot for a better taste. If you like spicy food, you can add some chili and pepper, or some sesame seeds.

2. Put a small spoonful of oil in the frying pan. Don’t heat the oil too high. 1-10 degrees, about 4 degrees is enough. The fish will be cooked easily.

3. Fry on both sides. It is recommended not to fry it fully cooked, otherwise the meat will become tough and not tasty. About 5 minutes per side, leaving one-third of the thickness of the raw fish in the middle.

4. Remove from the pan and let it cool slightly on the chopping board before slicing. Fish that is not fully fried is also easier to slice.

5. Serve on a plate and add some light soy sauce.

How to steam tuna
