How to cook beef tongue stewed in red wine

The method of stewing beef tongue in red wine is not as complicated as everyone thinks. Prepare the tableware and seasonings first. Then start following the steps and remember to control the heat well.

9. Add the butter and flour paste and stir fry evenly.

10. The fried black pepper juice is actually like black pepper paste. Put it in the refrigerator and melt it with water, red wine or brandy when needed.

11. Bring a piece of beef tongue to a boil, then blanch it in hot water for 1-2 minutes. Then peel off the white coating on the outside of the tongue while it is still hot, wash it and set aside.

12. Cut the beef tongue into thin slices and marinate with black pepper and 1/4 teaspoon salt for 15 minutes.

13. Add a little butter to the pan and heat it.

14. Put the beef tongue slices in batches, fry until both sides change color, then remove and set aside.

15. Put all the fried beef tongue back into the pan, fry again, then add 2 tablespoons of black pepper juice and stir evenly.

16. Add red wine to cover the entire beef tongue. After boiling, add salt, sugar or Maggi sauce according to personal taste. Turn to low heat after high heat, simmer for 45 minutes and serve.
