Potato and beef brisket casserole

Now that people’s lives are better, they have become more careful about what they eat. In the past, people ate to fill their stomachs. Nowadays, people eat for health, so here I would like to introduce to you a healthy and delicious potato and beef brisket stew.

1.1 Prepare star anise, bay leaves, ginger slices, garlic, chili peppers and a small piece of cinnamon; heat up a casserole, add oil, and stir-fry the above spices until fragrant;

2.2 Wash the beef brisket and cut it into small pieces. Put cooking wine and ginger slices in a pot and blanch them together. Then wash with clean water and drain.

3. Pour in the blanched beef brisket and stir-fry together; add a little dark soy sauce and light soy sauce to stir-fry until fragrant;

4. Then add appropriate amount of water; add a little rock sugar and some hawthorn, bring to a boil, then turn to low heat and simmer for about 1.5 hours until the beef brisket is soft; (stir from time to time to avoid sticking the pot)

5. Prepare potatoes and carrots, peel them, cut them into pieces of appropriate size, add them to the beef brisket pot, and simmer for about 15 minutes until the potatoes are soft. Taste it, if it is not salty enough, add a little salt to season, sprinkle with green onions and coriander and it’s done!
